Six-Digit Fundraising for CROWDLOC
French-German Startup that locates Consumer Electronics devices & enterprise assets carried out a Euro Six-Digit funding round with private investors
Versailles, France - July 3rd 2017 - CROWDLOC today announced the closing of a Euro six-digit funding round with private investors. This fundraising supports the launch of its B2B software platform for geolocation of Bluetooth-enabled consumer electronics and tags.
The six private investors are French and German entrepreneurs and executives in the fields of telecoms, connected car technologies and geolocation, as well as finance.
“CROWDLOC’s mission is to fight the global problem of loss and theft, a multi-billion Euro market on a global scale,“ explained Ludovic Privat, CEO and co-founder.
At the heart of CROWDLOC is a mobile Software Development Kit (SDK) embedded in the apps of its partners in the CROWDLOC Alliance that records the nearby presence of Bluetooth Low Energy devices and tags (beacons) and sends their location to a cloud platform.
“CROWDLOC's DNA is B2B and software. Our ambition is to serve a large spectrum of vertical markets while fully mutualizing the location of Bluetooth assets via the mobile apps of our partners in the CROWDLOC Alliance,“ added Ludovic Privat.
